WHO HAS USED speedwerx AND WHAT cdi timing
does the speedwerx triples need a different curve than the factory trips.
advent has "factory pipe "settings,,,with that be the same
I COULD USE SOME SPEEDWERX PICS and/or install instcructions(sp) too if i can bother any of ya
i might be just trying it on the pro tec cdi/and p/v controler (THEY) tell me the red line is 8100 and from what i have been told the pipes want 7900
it has to work better than stock ,,
I just dont want to buy an ad vent to have it burn down itself(rumors) or have to be redone for the SPEEDWERX
thanks again for all the tips

Speedworx were more prone to detonation then FP. Seriously doubt they can use the same curve. Locating someone thats used them succesfully is going to be the key.

Advent can be programmed with any custom curve you want. My latest Advent has been problem free as well.

The only people I know that used them were racing with Race fuel and totally programmable MSD. The Speedworx pipes were NEVER intended for rec use unlike FP.

Try Alohr.. he had a couple sets of these pipes. I think from the sounds of it they were both cc race boats setup with all speedwerx stuff.

I have the speedwerx triples with Riva Advent and it's C-16 / HTG fuel only. I think it's $11.00 a gallon there.
and yes, curve programmable.

Call Advent and ask them or...find Bo DUpreist, Duke should know how to get up with him. They do require more retard than the FP's..

This Advent curve is what I ran when had speedcrax pipes.
Seat of the pants dyno says more torque and hp than the FPP I have now. Sounded great and pulled real hard at top end.
For all out power they can't be beat. Actually Darren made these pipes to beat fpp piped boats in cc
Ran real real good till they cracked and took out a cyl.
I had 14 hours on these pipes/curve... then it was crack pipe time with no warranty. Also Speedcrax are a pain in the a$$ to weld up tight.
I can't stress enough how important it is to make sure they pressure test good. Pay close attention to detail, clearance of pipes, AND correct mounting.
IMO these pipes need more/better mounting brackets.
I always used vp c12 not the suggested advent noted 92 octane...
Not sure how the 92 runs, never chanced it.
iirr back then c12 was $4.00gal, times change, huh
