Speedster 200 (310hp) questions
I am looking at upgrading from the 150 Speedster (215hp) to the Speedster 200 (310hp). How is the gas consumption of the Speedy 200? I hear the 430hp model drinks like crazy, and from what I have found on here, the 310hp can do 50+mph, which is fast enough for me.
Anybody have any information on the handling of the Speedy 200? I went from the C180, which handled like a slug, to the 150 Speedster, and now I am wondering if the Speedy 200 will be in-between the two boats in terms of handling.
How does the Speedy 200 handle in large waves? My 150 will give you a good beating on white-capping lakes, and boat rolls.
Thanks in advance for any replies!

I have a Utopia with the same powerplants in it. I can get about 4-5 days of solid boating on a tank of gas so I'm pretty happy with it. Also, the hulls on these 20' boats handle really well through the waves. You'll definately be happy with it.

I love mine, I just wont go out on lake michigan if there are any waves in it. Any small amount of waves beats the hell out of you... I think alot of it has to do w/ the shallow draft these boats have. I'm also just use to going out in larger fishing boats though, nothing under 20'.

I love the 200 with the 430hp, I get around 4-5 hours for about $100 in gas but thats at $4.59 a gal up here.
But the 430 is a monster!
The 200 is nice too since you can take out 7 people. That was the down side for the 150 to me.
