    Sensor Message in MFD

Does anyone know what causes a display of SENSOR in the MFD without any error codes in the system? I am acutally getting these errors on 2 4-Tecs. The only common item I can reference between the two is that they both had the exhaust gas temperature probe recently disconnected and then reconnected. BTW - neither of them has run since this maintenance took place. This was a static key test prior to putting them in service this year.

If you are getting SENSOR with the engine running and the ski is on the trailer, it's probably the depth finder not being able to read the bottom. If that's the case, try holding an empty can under the bottom of the ski where the transducer is. If it acquires the bottom, and the SENSOR alarm goes away, that's you problem... Ron
