I'm using Bunkaps on mine... I bought a used trailer that had worn bunks, and the carpet looked like crap. Put new LED lights, and changed the bunks. Works fine for me. They don't slide off when dry, in fact it actually grips the ski (better for transportation?)... and when they get wet, it lets the ski slip off.

I have to admit, it would be nice to push off the ski's without sinking the trailer too deep down the ramp when launching, but when retrieving, the winch can handle it no problem. I guess I'm sticking with the peace of mind that the bunks won't damage the hull at all.

I used "vinyl" raingutter downspout pipe from Lowe's on my bunks. Cheap and works like a charm. Sliced one of the four sides off with my table saw and used screws on each side along the bunks... works great... I think the down spouts were about $9.00 each...
