    WTB 4-tec engine 06

    Looking for a 06 4-tec engine...dont need the elec...just the engine.

    He found me one...an 05.....if I change the PTO cover on it to a 06...can I still use the 06 RR ECU with that engine...or will I need to go with the 05 one?

    what about the difference between crankcase venting thru the front cover versus the relocated TOPS valve on 06+ units ...

    plus, the oil sensor logic was changed for grounding was pressure versus grounding was no pressure

    i used to have a whole list of differences and changes between 05-06 motors...

    the crank pin is in a different spot also, not only the PTO cover difference, is that right too?

    do alot of research...

    I have addressed all issues and to interchange u would need the front and rear covers, and the crank-trigger wheel needs a hole drilled in it to re-clock it's position on the crank, freakin' cake-walk if your old covers/pumps are good.....
