    04 vs. 07 gp 1300r help!!!

i have 04 which has the basic stage 1 kit; riva ride plate, intake grate, riva trim tabs, solas YF-CD 13/20 SB,pump seal kit,87 mm exit nozzle,D plate and temp sensor; which my wife rides most of the time i many ride the 07 which only has riva ride plate, intake grate, riva trim tabs, solas YG-DF-14/20,D plate no sensor (riva head and wave eaters NOT installed yet)both skies have ran neck n neck since adding parts to the 07 who gets the jump would win. the last 2 nights i have installed IR Holeshot kit stealth mod with adjustable valve ,R&D power plenium and R&D fuel controler on the 04; the fuel controler is recommended to be plug and play and i figured with no motor mods that would be fine, ran ski today felt good ran wide open for about 1/8 mile checked plugs looked good; lined up with wife who is riding 07 while i was adjusting flow valve an checkin plugs we both nailed throttle i pulled 1/2 ski then she went on by did this 4 times switched skies same thing 04 pull about 1/2 ski then 07 would ease on by about 10 ski lengths we are near myrtle beach sc about 87 out today we both weigh about 120 lbs was expecting 04 to spank the 07 with these new mods, any thoughts???? or suggestions!!!!

Well the holeshot kit is doing its job. The R&D power plenum has not shown any gains that I know about and the fuel controller is not needed with your "mods", so where were you going to get all the speed from?

I see you have the powershot controller.. The recomended WOT setting is way rich. Lean it all the way down to 1 and you will gain 100+rpm..

You're right, didn't mean to be a wise guy just want you to have realistic expectations of your mods.

Check the throttle cable and make sure it is opening the tb's all the way.
