    Pump Stator question

Happy 4th everyone. Here is a question. I bought the pump from Darren (1200 DI parts post).

The stator is a SS six vein, however all the impellers I have don't fit on the stator.

The impeller that was on there has a wider opening on the end where the impeller mounts up. What did I miss here? The Stator is in mint condition and turns great.

Is this something that can't be used for a 2000 1200 Pro?

What Polaris part numbers do your impellers have?

Are these impellers that came off your Pro 1200?

The Stator and impeller I got from Darren is 5131366 I think, some of the numbers are worn off.

Mine is a Solas PA SC X II.

mmm maybe a 7.0 is in order , im runing a 5131366 i guess it was run in the 96 sltx and the 1200 di virages ,

but i am running the same stator , but i found the prop on my 5 vein chunked away , the s/s prop vs. cast alum is no good ,

shes purty wanna spill the beans on how much ?

$250, received the Stator, Extension ring, 4 long bolts, and the drive shaft (which is way long, maybe some here could use it.

So this will work on my Pro 1200, I just need a new impeller (nu jet 7.0)?

Check the length of the spacer from your old stator, and the new one. You may just need to swap the 2 spacers.

So on the Pro 1200 they run that smaller hub? Is that the odd ball props we've talked about before?

The reason I picked this up is I really had to force the AAT onto the Stator, a little pounding on the AAT, then tighten bolts, a little more pounding, some more tightening etc. The 15/21 concord is not pitched enough as my RPM's are up, but MPH on top end down. I have the 15.5/25 that I want to try.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to seperate the AAT and the Stator now that I forced them on? I thought heat, but they may just both expand or maybe the heat would melt the rubber seals.

I want to take both of my rides up to Northern Michigan on Monday ans would love to change out the impeller before I go.

Here are a couple of pics. The first one is with the impeller that came with the stator, the second is with the Solas. The the Solas isn't wide enough to get around the outer lip of the stator.
