Aussie GP1200R Lean Jetting Help?
Hi i have a Australian 00 GP1200R im rebuilding. I am pulling my hair out over the jetting. These are the mods i will be doing over the next week.
3 x new cylinders ported exhaust ports
ADA head 35cc domes
Oil pump block off plate
Wave eater power valve kit
Rive air filters/flame arrestors
TDR jet spray water box
Riva free flow pipe
Carby rebuild kits
it has d plate stock
00 gpr 1200 Aust stock jetting.
115 gram spring
I have a set of
95 & 80 gram springs
Which i was going to install. But my local pwc mechanic reckons it will be to lean. He recommended to install stock 92.5 pilots,145 mains & 1.5 n/s
This is my thinking 92.5+145=237.50 at WOT or 110+120=230 at WOT
but i don't know if that is correct.
Also the aussie GP1200R has 3 accelerator pumps which i was going to disconnect & use a primer kit.
I have read allot of threads on the subject but still cant get my head around it any help would be very much appreciated.
Riva ride plate & R&D Ride Plate
R&D Aquavein Intake Grate
R&D Pump Seal Kit

I would go with this set up and you will be just fine.
Remove or disable accelerator pump.
remove choke plates
1.5 needle and seats
95 gram springs
pop-off 42-45 psi
1 turn out on the low speed screw
1-1/2 out on the high speed screw
I have set up many 1200 skis with this and it just plain works. similar if not exactly the same mods as yours. Leave the low speed adjusters alone and dial the highs in with a digital tach. find the highest rpm then back it out 1/8-1/4 turn for safety.

either Aussie had different jetting specs ( i only see usa jetting online) or he's mistaken about jetting?
