Howdy everyone. My name is James, but many call me "Bubba". I live and work in Mobile, AL (been in L.A. - lower Alabama - all my life). I own a high performance automotive business, and I custom tune and dyno tune vehicles as a large part of my work (autos only). Not only do I get to see all sorts of really kickass vehicles, but I also get to own a few to play w/ for myself:

    '08 Z06 (11.13 @ 129 tune only!)
'03 Cobra (600+ rwhp on pump, 700+ on race)
    '05 F-250 Harley Davidson
    '08 HD Nightrod Special
    '04 HD V-Rod A
    '07 Can-Am Outlander 800 XT

Here's a cool video of my Vette:

Anyway, enough about that. Tomorrow should be the big day for me, as I purchase my first ever PWC! I've been a fan of them for years, and have ridden them a on/off since a middle teen (am 33 now). And, yes, I plan on starting off quite fast right out of the box: RXP-X. This link and video is what did it for me (thanks to GreenHulk for making it easy, LOL!):

(to view in high quality, click on the player to open it up in another window, then "watch in high quality" at the bottom right of the vid)

Also, two of my close friends on here are "myth" and "bow tie klr", and I promised each of them that they'll never outrun me on the track, nor on the water (LOL!).

Advance shout out to Dylan at Hattiesburg Cycles for being a friend, and making my purchases easy.

Welcome to the forum and to the sport/lifestyle of PWCs.

Becareful with the X until you get the hang of it, and break it in right. Let the engine warm up and vary your RPMs.
