    Riva Power Filter - questions?

Installing a intake on a 04 GTX SC.

Before I gut out the old airbox as per the instructions. Can I leave part of the airbox that sits next to the gas tank in place?

Also, does the rectifier have to be relocated to prevent overheating? I have the riva bracket, but would like to leave it undisturbed unless this is must do.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, you can leave the "L" in place....keeps the bungies tight. Though, if you're gonna use that part for your new intake I would gut the baffles.

I've left mine air blowing past problems for over a year.
