Thread: Custom BOV

Is it possible to just use a aluminum 2.5 adapter and a custome bov.
I was thinking about looking into BOV's before I get metal washers if that's what is needed.

Of course you can, the only thing I would be worried about is getting a cheap BOV like the ones you listed, I really don't know how they would hold up or give up quickly when they get wet, given not even the most expensive one is supposed to tolerate water but I would still spend the extra dough. Also make sure whatever you get is adjustable so you can tune it just right for your ski and the amount of boost you run.

I was thinking if I go to the high boost SC and metal washers I would need a BOV. I figured I'd try to get one similiar to the pro billet one.
...probably just end up buying one from Riva but figured I could find the exact one on the internet for half the price.
Didn't make since to have one with the ceramics but it makes since to have one with the metal washers to keep them from heating up.

you can get the exact same pro series blow off valve through a vortech dealer. The only difference with the Riva one is that it has a black top, through here you can choose to get in blue, purple, or polished. I found a store in Cali on ebay that was selling it for $160 brand new, list is about $250 I think. If you want the info to the ebay store let me know.
Here is a link, its the second one down Race/Bypass Blowoff Valves

here is the auction, I just realized they do not have an ebay store but it is an actual store in California, at the bottom of the auction there is an 800 number , this is the cheapest place I found it.
