    Heat Fade??

    Ok heres the story:

I have a 04 rxp with 199 hours of abuse and I have slowly been doing mod after mod in the past two years. I am very happy with the performance of the ski now and it runs like a raped ape!!

The mods I have are as follows:

    Opas-block-off
    PPG power-pipe(no resonator)
    08' X-Charger
    RRFPR
    Riva grate
    Riva air intake(Under seat)
    15/20 solas repitched
    Reverse bucket trimmed
    Rideplate filled

Right now the ski is running about 72 or 73 I think. I am walking right past a stock X anywhere and the thing feels sick. My RPM's are about 8100 on cold water and start hanging around 7950 on hot humid days.
I just picked up a Riva 158 degree thermostat and was wondering if that is gonna help me out a bit on those hot and humid days as far as losing that 150 RPM's.

Yes the thermo will help it is not the cure all but will give you back some of your RPM loss

The best fix for heat fade is the Riva rear intake.

The next thing you need to do is get a external ic on that thing. The stock ic is a pos and the x charger will produce alot of heat. that will solve your heat soak probs untill it gets real hot and water temps get up, then not a lot will stop it from happering. Trust me with your set up and the addition or a ex ic you will run 75 easy. R88
