800 to 1200 parts interchangable??
does anyone know if the jet pump including drive shaft and intermediate shaft from a 2000 gp1200r will fit a 2001 gp800r ,i know impeller would have to be changed, reason for asking the misses 800 strip the splines on the drive shafts today, and upon removeal found pump liner bubbleing , if i could change pumps with the 1200 would make for a good excess for a ho pump with spacer for the 1200,p.s i checked the oem parts finder on here but no part numbers to compare

Billy i am not sure but i have a 03 model pump if you need one with a 13/21 prop .
I would think the 2000 and 2001 skis are the same they changed in 2002 and beinf 1200 or 800 should be the same in pump parts i would think i might be wrong.

pulled the pump from my gp1200r out today to compare, thay both look and measure the same,so there should not be a probelm changing one to the other, but both couple have corrision holes in the coupler,if you have an unknow water leak this probably wurth checking
