    sc washer

    I 'm about to install sc metal washer from riva as i readed to the instruction they said i have to replace the 40 needle bearing .I don't have any problem of getting a new one ,but i want to used the ski this weekend .I need some suggestion on that please . thanks

    Re use the ones that come out. Just a pair of needle nose and some grease makes it real easy. Just make sure that you are ready to catch them all when you pull the gear.

    It's not necessary to replace the needle bearings. It's easier if you do but not necessary.

    I wish I had gotten that advise before my first SC pull. lol. I was only ready to catch 38 of them.

    The needle bearings only roll when the clutch is slipping...they last a long time...

    ...Unless you are down to 38 of them...like I was after a meatl washer instal.
