4th of July Accident
Just wanted to show people what happens when inexperience mixes with speed. The ski was doing about 35 when he realized the machine will not turn without power. The machine catapulted off of our dock and into our pontoon boat. No one was in the boat at the time and the kid had a bump on his head. The parents had bought the machine the morning of the 4th and this was the first time the kid had been on a ski.
I am attaching my own photos and the front page article from the newspaper.

Wow I really did'nt think that people could be that stupid. He would have definately had more than a bump on his head had he did something like that to something of mine.

Someone needs to go slap his parents or letting him on that ski with no experience, the first day they have it in a crowded dock area. STUPID. Accidents like this are what give PWC'S a bad image and cause communities to try to ban them.

Education people...education. People need to be educated about PWC. you just don't throw your kids on them with out proper training and education.
this could have been prevented. and its a good thing nobody got hurt.

I always thought about putting a lift on the end of a pontoon boat to carry a ski out with the boat...now I think I won't do that.
Serioulsy though, glad no one was hurt.

Have to ask why the ski was going 35 mph that close to the dock...whether it can steer or not.
Maybe we should encoruage faster speeds by the dock...this way the ski may have cleared the pontoon. No, that was bad. I retract that.
That kid's excuse..."I need OPAS, mom."
PS - Glad it was not the X on the ramp.
