    2004 Octane RPM limiter elimination.

    Does any one now how to eliminate the RPM limiter on an 2004 OCTANE?

    You don't want to completely eliminate the RPM limiter.

    When the jet pump unloads during jumps out of the water, the electronic RPM limiter is the only thing that keeps the engine from over-revving into excessive, beyond red-line engine damaging peak RPM.

    I think some early generation (pre-Polaris) jet ski products were built without any form of RPM limit, and the engines suffered damage if the throttle was held open when the jet ski left the water.
