    Can You run an IC ski without the IC?

    Can I run this ski without the Riva IC hooked up by re-installing the stock SC elbow coupler if I need to???...PR...

    Yep, no problems with doing this.

    I would think so. It would just run like a dog because of the rpm loss and don't forget to put a coupler on the water hose.

    I think I remember Jerry trying this for S&G's.

    I was wondering if you feel the ceramic washers start to slide if you could just pull off the air connection from the SC to IC so no more pressure on the SC to stop the ceramic from breaking until you could get back.

    I can`t remember What mod I added that required the IC???

    Kinch: The Riva IC connector tubes are a little distorted from Heat, so in case they really get out of shape I wanted to know if I could run the ski without the IC.
    and of course I would re-route the exhaust cooling, I have the original green stripe hose intact...PR...

    You wouldn't get max RPM's because you won't be making your full potential horsepower.

    I have run the RXP ECU on GTX SC's with no IC with great results so no issue there.

    Gotcha, I was also thinking that more heat means less power as well...PR...
