pitch for better accelaration
as bove im not intrested in top-end speed and would glady loose a few mph top end to gain a few .0 of a second in take off to say 50.
ski is a rxp-x.
only ride in sea and its usualy to rough to get anywhere near topspeed anyway

I am no prop expert but if I understand right you kinder get higher accel with higher top speed. It is all down to how much water you process at a given RPM. Basically the more water you throw out the back the fasster you accel and the higher your top speed will be. So for the best accel you need to get the steepest prop that your engine can turn at 8000 if stock ECU is being used. I have read however that the three blade props accel a tad better than the 4 blades, but are a little down on the top speed, not an issue for you. I would look into intake grates as well as a change under there may giv a bit better hook up and therefore better accel. Like I said im no expert but this is my take on it, mayb some1 who has done some testing with diff props on the x ski will chime in with some options. R88

hi mate yes ive read a bit in to it aswell and like you say i have read that the 3 blade offers better acceleration than the normal 4 blade.
the grate could be tricker to mach the impeller.

anyone shed any light on pitch needed or other ways if any to improve?
