    Speedo reads 35mph???

Is there some way to clean this (blow it out with an air hose) or get another one. It reads 35 at top speed and rpms are 6400, this is a 98 slxh 1050.

Speedo is simply a presure system. Pull the digital dash out and on the back you should find a clear hose next to the electrical connnector. You can blow it out by mouth and it should vent freely (if not try compressed air). Trace the hose back to the internal fitting below the drive shaft (llok for cracks in the hose, cinks etc - replace hose if necessary). Also check the through hull fitting for clogging, damage etc. If all checks out it could be the pressure transducer in the MFD (guage) itself and if thats the case you will have to replace the guage. Good luck!
