    Question Sticky Throttle

My 01 gp1200r has it throttle wheel getting stuck. when i pull the throttle it will not spin back. the cable pushes out but the wheel wont spin back. how do I lube it up so it will spin. Ive pushed it back a few times but it keeps getting stuck.

Corroded carb shaft. DO NOT RIDE THIS SKI AGAIN, until you remove the carbs and fully inspect them.

Commom problem with carbs mounted on sides of engine in ski.

    Remove them.
Find out which carb(s) are damaged.
    Repair or relube.

I took off the carbs and it was the first carb. it doesnt move back and forth very good. I tryed to lube it the best i could but the shaft doesnt come out because its connected the the gold plate thing. I loosened it up alittle and then it seemed to be working fine and i put it back in and its still sticking. What can I do now?

There is bushings in there, I take the shaft completely out check the bushings replace if needed polish the shaft and assemble with marine grease.

Because the factory mushrooms the end of the threads, You have to have them tight then take a little grinder and grind the end of the treaded screw then take out the screw.
