need help w/ my polaris sl 780!!!
have a polaris sl 780 w/ kinda the same problems as the "f'n new guy" out of water mine will rev to 7 k
when i put it in our lake it will only rev to 1/3 throttle and we cant figure out why, had all the same problem as the "f'n newguy" but fixed the problems w/ the float in the gas tank, so its no longer in limp mode everything seems fine when the hose is hooked to it and its out of water, can u please help me??? have already downloaded the manual, but dont know what to look for, thank you,

An engine can seem to run strong with no load. Imagine a box being pulled up by a rope. Any child could do that. No imagine the same box full of rocks, being pulled through the sand. Your Jet pump is the same thing. Pushing water through your pump takes a great deal of power as opposed to pushing air.

First thing first, check your compression.

Have you ever had a car with a bad sparkplug wire?

It idles just great (no load), but the second you put it in gear (load) it dies?

    Same concept...
