D-plate For Non Pv Engines On Xlt1200?

I have ordered a d-plate and sensor chip for my 99 xlt1200. After I placed my order, I had a guy email me that I previously inquired with about ordering and he said the 99 model is a non pv and the plate will not work. Is that right? I have one on the way!

    Thanks

I think the 99 GP was non PV... what year is yours? 99 and 00 are XLL.. 01 and newer are XLT...

if it's an xlt it is a pv if it's an xl it's non pv ..if it has separate cyls it's pv if it's one connected cyl bank it's non pv
98 was the last non pv 1200 for the 3 seater's so your ok with the order unless someone swapped motors ?

Just confirmed, mine is a 66V so I'm good. Any idea where I can get some decent directions for replacing my cat con? I am going to get the machine in the garage and break down the exhaust tonight.

    Thanks
