Hey guys (and maybe gals???) what does everyone do about the oil tank & sender when running premix. Seems a waste to keep oil in it just to stop the alarm from going off ( admittedly I use cheapo engine oil - in the oil tank) ?
Would be good to maybe use in for a little extra storage??? But what about the sender issue ?

Thanks guys I'm gonna go the ziptie way and seal the sensor inside a plastic bag and tie that out of the way. And maybe look at using the oil tank as a tool storage compartment (assuming I can manage to put holes in it without it colapsing) as I ride between islands around here it would be nice to carry a few basic tool/parts !

If you remove it completely do the full tank straps retain sufficient tension ?
