Looking to reach 75MPH. Any suggestions?

So I have done some recent mods that brought me to top speed of 73.3MPH. With what I have done in my signature any sugestions that could help me get to 75MPH? I am looking at Jim's ride plate modification and maybe tweaking the impeller. Also I am turning 8140-8160 RPM, is this ok?

Hey Jesse. Yeah I talked to him this past weekend about looking into the hull now. I am going to see how his open loop cooling setup does. Maybe I can be a guinie pig for it.

Drill a new water outlet hole in the XS intercooler at the very highest location in the end-tank and plug the original one. This will purge more air out of the intercooler and make it more effective.

When I first saw your title, I was going to say "open your wallet and bend over," but it looks like you're almost there so I will just say good job and best wishes for your success...

...maybe talk to Jawz about a prop tweak?

unless I missed it ditch the Riva air intake for a 4" air intake and get the thru hull exhaust then a 15/20 4 blade and you will be close

I think 15/20 is a little steep. Depending on his rpms the 14/19 is where it's at.

On the 3 seaters the stock grate is best IMO. I've tried the Riva grate twice and lost .5 - 1 mph. I didn't feel that hook up was that improved either. Definetly not good enough to warrant that kind of speed loss.

Currently in smooth water it is at at
8140 RPM with 81mm ring around 72.5 MPH
    8160 RPM with 82mm ring 72.8 MPH
    8180 RPM with 83mm ring 73.3 MPH

Through the chop with 82mm ring it is 71.8 MPH at 8160 RPM and continuosly pulling hard!

I thought about going to a 14/19R + 1mm (14/20). Just not sure what that will do for me though.
