    2 stroke or 4 stroke

    im new to yamaha im a polaris guy but i realy like the yamaha gp1200r and few questions what kind of speed 2 or 4 stroke and im lookin at building one any advise

    I'll give it a try

    Its a 2 stroke
    In stock form its in the 61-63mph range.
    Modified can go upwards of 90mph

    sry didnt relize the way i worded it my bad i see alot of ppl say they put a 1300 top end is that the same crank as the 1200 with just bigger cylinders and pistons?????

    and the 1500 does it have power valves and what is the pros and cons of power valves

    Some people like them without power valves and some like them with power valves. It can be done either way, best bet to see what your engine builder prefers and allready has experiance with setting up. FYI- 1500's need to have the cases cut for clearance on the larger pistons. The 1300 and 1390 are easier set ups.
