    metal sc clutch??

    once you upgrade to the metal sc clutch is it as important to let off the throttle when you are skipping over the chop or going fast and bouncing in and out of the water.

    please help

    any conditions that cause the clutch to slip should be avoided as best as you can as the steel washers still wear and are hard on the gear surface.

    I've heard that there are better washers to use because the stock steel washers r too soft....which r best...the Rivas?

    The stocks arent metal, they are ceramic which is the problem. The only option that Jerry sells are teh RIVA's

    If its a 08 model SC then they have the metal SHIT washers in them!

    Any engine that is not under load at full throttle is at risk of engine damage from from high revs so yes, if you come out of the water you should back off the throttle.
