What pump to upgrade with??? gp1200r
i read alot about "HO" pumps on the older gpr's for an upgrade..
What year pumps,from what models??
I did a lot of serching and reading about shaft length and I am lost
Is there any year that would be a swap or do i need to swap shafts around with any model pump???
i found a blown-up 03 fx140 in the driveway today ,,and the pump looks like the "good" ones i see for sale any thoughts????

if you want an HO pump you will need to use 2005 gpr spec pump part as thats when yamaha released the HO pump.
i also reccomend getting the 2 inch spacer (2004 onwards i think) for the pump as well as it helps with hookup and improves top end slightly as well.
you will need to get a 30 inch drive shaft as well as a few other bits.
i think itzmunch has 2 HO pump setups for sale at the moment in the classifiedes section, pm him as they seem the right price.

Buy an 05 and up pump stator section and the tail cone for it, A new set of seals and then press your shaft out and press in the new housing. simple as that. no need to worry about driveshafts.
