PSI for intercooler relief valve
I have the R&D intercooler upgrade kit with the relief valve, basically a flow rite that will let water out so pump pressure doesn't break intercooler! My problem is that the valve is broken and just lets lets water out all the time, I am going to replace it with a pro series flow rite but need to know what to set the psi at. so does anyone know the psi rating of the i/c? and the flow rite instructions should tell me how much each turn is equivilant to (and if pre set), right? thanks
i have already taken the original one apart and put washers in it but still no improvement, so want to go to higher quality unit.

How is you valve broke. Talk to Glen at R&D. He will most likely warranty it. Tell em Skip said he would fix it for you free..... I owe hime some greef, I have an IPhone because of him....

when i took it apart it looks like the oem washer had bent and slid from the pressure, there are scratch marks on the inside like it was forced.

hopefuly it wasn't pieces of sc rotor.

How would that happen, we are talking about the BOV for the water cooling line off the pump to the intercooler from the R&D I/C kit.

NP, just upside down aussie humor we take the piss out of our selves all the time.
to keep this on thread, my local shop is fitting their own version of the r+d ic cooling kit, do you need the pressure relief valve, I will have to ask them if they fit one.

Not installing the relief valve can over pressurize the IC and cause leaks.
