    R&D piggy back catch can

i am thinking about drilling a hole in the R&D can, either on top (breather side) so i can plug it, but then remove plug and stick a hose down and suck out the liquid or maybey putting a hole in the bottom of the can and running a line out to the side and put a little drain valve on it so i can drain the can and will not have to remove it every time i want to check or remove the liquids. I was thinking i might put the oem crank case vent (that i replaced with the nova one) on thevery bottom of the can and connecting the hose and spout to that. Has anyone else thought of doing anything like this? suggestions or comments welcome. Thanks - Barrett

How about drilling the bottom and tapping for 1/8 pipe fitting.
Then screw a ball valve into that with a nipple for a hose.

    looks about right

that looks about right my only question is do you think the can is thick enough to tap and have the threads hold and if so will it be flush so the tube won't be higher than the bottom of the can and trap liquid in the bottom?
