The GP1200R's are great ski's. Very reliable. Pretty good handling, but they are kind of "hogs." That being said, it is a FANTASTIC ski....

As long as the ski has been taken care of and flushed out after every ride (if salt water) then there is pratically no limit to hours. You just have to find a good deal. I bought a 2000 GP1200R with a double trailer for $3500. That one had 70 hours on it. How many does the one you are looking at have?

Yeah figured that, the one i was looking at was an 02 with 200 hours on it and they wanted 4k, so think im gonna pass that up and start looking at ones with less than 80 on them.

Yeah, try to find another. Unless you offer them $2500-$3500 and tell them to call back if they want to sell.

Just always low-ball the seller... Not too much though, cuz' they might not sell it to you then. Use your own judgment...

I would not trade my GPR for any other ski. I'm not really into modding the crap out of ski's and trying to get to 100 mph. I just casually ride and love to jump waves. The GPR hull was basically designed to jump waves. Unfortunately the "guts" were not.... haha. It is still great at jumping though, in my opinion.
