RXP vs RXT - Performance wise is there a big difference?

I know the RXT weights a little more and is a little longer, but do those facts decrease the performance that much over a RXP? I'm trying to decide on which one to buy...Is the RXT much more stable in rough water/waves?

This will be a full family use ski, so it will have to pull tubers, allow slow cruising rides and yet kick some a$$ when I want to have some fun. Overall do you think the RXT is best for my situation?

    VTS isn't important to me.

Yes the RXT is what you want, by law you need a three seater to pull tubers anyway, the RXT may be bigger than the RXP but it kicks just as much ass and yes it is much better in rough waters/waves

Ive had both RXP and RXT I enjoy my RXT better than the RXP. There is more room to kick back and ride. Also my RXT is as fast as my old RXP. Good luck on your choice.

    RXT

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll start looking for a used 2008 model to avoid the washer issue entirely and to get more warranty. I like the Black & Silver color scheme too.

I'm with you skeeter. Black and silver looks good. Just trying to decide between the X-boat and the regular RXT. It's a 2000 dollar difference at my dealer.
