The noise is the hull screaming in pain!!!

You need to be more specific on the chirping is it coming from the pump area??

There is a warning buzzer that will buzz if you overheat or if you are low on oil. My guess is the oil sloshing around sending a momentary chirp to the buzzer.

    chirping

i am premixing to make sure i dont burn up engine due to oiler malfunction, but it didn't do it until used for couple hrs. would go out for 10 min then sit for 10 or so

Make sure the battery is properly mounted, and is NOT shorting against the electrical box.

It sounds like fuel tank air pressure valve releasing air from tank

i had the same thing on a 92 model 650 , i found out that it was indeed the buzzer chirping cause from overheating. Im still trying to sort ot the heat problems as all the cooling hoses are plumbed wrong.

If you have the lanyard with a whistle, you may want to remove it (whistle) and see if your "chirp" goes away.
