    it pays to procrastinate

Well, my Hurricane project is at a stand still having spent my stimulus check on a Tri-Zinger for my nephew instead of the ignition up date kit.

The SLX and SL were running great on Sunday when the SLX started howling. Pump bearing was my guess and today I found out I was correct. The damn oem tail cone cracked and flood bearings that aren't even two years old yet. Well, they are shot.

I never got around to bolting that six vein I got from Bob on the Hurricane. So I swamped impellers and have another six vein on the SLX and I'm back in business again.

I will put the pictures up here in the performance section for your comparison. One must be a Skat-Track and the other an Asian trend. Damn that tail cone, anybody make a better one?

I always wanted to try one but they aren't cheap, but neither are all new bearings and unwanted down time.

I agree, that's why I buy them when I see them in the classifieds for $100.

He has other cones for sale too that may work for you.

Only other non-plastic cone I ever saw was for a Skat pump ATS aaron had. What ever happened to him???????
