Question How to put a course together on the water??

Hi guys, a few local riders here in my home town have agreed we should get a track going on the water for some new fun.
However we don't know how many floats we need, spacing or anything else. We are novice and need some direction.

If anyone can help, we'de all appreciate it

    Thank you.
    Peter

for low cost fun get the cheap 9 inch bouys from overtons Red and yellows. Get you a piece of paper and draw out something you like, it can have zig zags, a dog leg, whatever you like. Direction is counter clockwise i think and left on red , Right on Yellow.

Someone will chime in if Im wrong on the last part

We have a secluded spot on our lake and leave them there all time

i thought about doing this also just to play around with...

are all APBA, ISJBA(whichever it is people race ) regional race courses the same? someone needs to come up with some blueprints, i've googled this before with no results other than the dimensions of a slalom course
