Stupid question, but why should i replace my plastic ones with metal? though for only 60$ but is it really considered a performance mod.

the reason people are going with metal is because when they start shimming the tabs (plastic) theory is that they flex after they have been shimmed.. if you are not going to shim them then the plastic ones are faster because they are thinner IE:less drag
