    Reusing Thick Polymer Hood Stickers

I have to repaint the hood on my 2002 GTX 4-Tec. The stickers come off the hood very well with some adhesive still on the back. Has anyone reapplied these thick stickers with some sort of a spray adhesive? I am not talking the thin vinyl, these are the older ones that were like 3/32" thick.

Maybe yours didn't, but I have often noticed that vinyl stickers stretch when pulling them off. That would make it hard to put them back and not have them look distorted.

These are so thick, they do not stretch. They came off perfectly with no blemishes. I think I can just use some 3M spray adhesive and reapply them, but wanted to see if that was reasonable or not. The replacement stickers are expensive and I have spent too much money on this project already.

No one has done this, I guess I am cheap after this project!
