if i wanted to get a pipe for it then do you think i would get a waterbox for the 951 or the starndard 787?

We have done several you must use all the 951 including waterbox, move exhaust outlet and we also use the 155 pump with modded pump shoe, the stock pipe works fine,Literally too fast with an aftermarket pipe

the 951 pipe would be to big for my spx engine compartment wouldn't it.. including the waterbox?

    It doesn't move enough water.

I know the 787 was about the most HP the old 140mm pumps could take, I think you can get more pitch but you are getting into the 25 degree range on the trailing edge(thats alot of prop). The bigger pupms will help with holeshot too you can do a D pump which is 148mm but why if you can use a 155mm pump(which you can get with the donor ski)
