Throw the green Solas nose cone in the garbage. It's the best place for it!

I use the stock rubber nose cone on my Solas and im running 77+

I am curious because I also have the Solas with the green cone. What is actually happening when it comes to performance when the cone slips off? My cone has never gone up the shaft, it usually slides about 1/16 of an inch off the impeller and just sits there with that gap between the cone and the impeller.

Also, how does the stock cone come off of the stock impeller to switch out? It just spins on the stock prop and does not appear to be screwed on of off. Do you pry it off?

when the nose cone walks up the shaft you lose RPM's and speed.

the stock cone has left hand threads and screws on and off of the impeller.

Well my cone must somehow be stripped because I can turn it in both directions "until the cows come home" and it does not thread itself on or off, it just spins and spins in both directions.
