    Wetjet Duo 300 Carb Settings

Can anyone on here tell me the carb screw setting for a Wetjet Duo 300.
I am repairing this ski (fuelling problems) only to find a new carb was fitted and the screws for hi and low are screwed all the way closed.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't they have the 61X Yamaha motors? is it a 1995 701cc

Is it a WetJet Duo300 "Kraze" edition ?

I fit is the 701 Yamaha motor, here is the jetting for a 1995 Waverunner III 701 motor

    701 Waverunner III
    Main Jet: 145
    Pilot Jet: 120
High Speed Screw: 1 turn out
Low Speed Screw: 1 1/4 turns out
    Needle & Seat: Stock

And here is the setting for 1995 701 WaveRaider

    701 Waveraider 1995
High Speed Screw: 1 1/4 turns out
Low Speed Screw: 3/4 turn out

Not sure which carb setup the Wetjet used, the Waverunner III or the Waveraider 701

It is fitted with a 701 yamaha engine (61X i think), single sbn 44 mikuni carb.

    Jetted as follows

The problem with this ski is it will not start unless the choke is out. Compression and spark are fine.

Once it starts up and the choke is leftback in it dies and will not start again unless the choke is pulled out again.
I rebuilt the carb but noticed thescrews are all the way in.

One other question. If a new carb was fitted would the factory have set the screws all the way in. I think this guy fitted an new carb but did not have a clue how to set it up. Thought it was "plug and play"
