Thread: Reverse Rod

The connecting rod from the transom(outside) to the adapter on the venturi for reverse has been bent on my RXT for some time now. When reinstalling my pump last night, the rod snapped and left very little threads that weren't bent. From what I can see in the parts diagram, you have to pull the WHOLE reverse line out! There must be some way around this, right? I tried my local home depot to get a "joiner" to put the few threads together with a new peice of screw, but had no luck because the threads are so thin. Anyone ever had this happen before? Whats a good way to fix this??

try threaded rod like the yami's use for their cable extensions.

Steal the one off your Dad's ski. Exactly the same rod/attachment.
