    First (post mod) ride

drop my project ski in after recent mods.. idling down lagoon (sounding beefy, cant wait to step on it). boom there i go rdy .. 4 k rpm ooo shot it stops and it sounds like the impeller is just running silly.!! my mouth dropped.. omg what did i do lol.. stop shut off. did it again.. checked intake that i didnt suck up a jelly fish idled back in... checked nothing wrong.. went one more time.. everything is great. picks up on plane QUICK. thing is a BEAST now i love my project ski.. did it again about 30 minutes later pulling out of a mucky area.. nothing in grate... sooo then im just assuming im sucking **** up because of the bigger grate ????

after just installing D-plate no warning in like 30 minutes.. then oooo **** warning goes off and two blinking symbols. soo i guess i need the temp sensor (coming monday).. but i was wroried why TWO symbols were blinking??
SMOKED a 06 RXP HA! at least by 2 mph midrange was nutty.
    Anyone have similar situation?

Need more info. Taking a wild guess here.

What grate are you using? It sounds like you have an 800 grate and your experiencing the unexpected cavitation upon WOT at the initial acceleration. If you have not done it yet seal your pump shoe!!! If you don't want to buy the PPK from Riva or R&D, it can be done with silicone and some creativity.

With the 800 or 1200 grate I see a lot more opportinies for crap to clog your grate/pump. The weeds and muck gets caught on the crossbar of the grates.

As far as the temp sensor I believe the chip or resistor will solve your problem.

The 'temp sensor' that can be bought aftermarket with the d-plate will not work in your '05 ski. The only fix is to live with it going off every now and then or cut the wires and solder in a 2K ohm resistor.

You need a resistor in place of the chip...
