least volume exh vs highest flow

I want improved flow over stock exhaust but if i could make it run silent as an electric car i would. What setup will improve flow with the least increase in volume?

so far i'm thinking, gutted oem waterbox with riva free flow thru stock outlet in the pump tunnel... and if there's no water in that then maybe i'll add some.

anyone have a good flow that might be quieter than the above suggestion?

    thanks

I think flaring the J-pipe and drilling/cutting the waterbox is the best route for you. We modded a stock waterbox similarly and it didn't get much louder at all.

Danny's flow thread is where i drew my conclusions from. He didn't say much about decibels though..just flow.

Mike says the drilled waterbox mod is not much louder.. I bought a gutted one from Gus..i'll have to ask him if it was 2x louder or whatever, but I"m not sure he ever installed it.

    thanks

Noise levels really arent that bad at all. I worked mine over as per Dannys instructions. I could definitely tell a difference in throttle response.

Im sure its been seen before... But heres all I did to mine.
