    7900 Rpm

That is all I can get out of my stock RXT,that was in upper 90* weather tho. What kind of rpm's is everyone else seeing?

My oil level is right in the middle of the crooked area on the dipstick.

    Thanks guys

Maybe toss in a fresh wear ring.

I have 2 new RXP's with 12 and 15 hours on them and they both will not run past 7900. But here temps are high as well with LOWS in the 85-90 degree range during the day. BTW the best I vae so far on ONE of my RXP's in stock form was 68.4 MPH in 82 degree water and outside temp around 85 degrees (morning).

I got 12 hours on my RXT and ran 8,100 RPM's consistant yesterday at the beach. Weather was not so great. About 85 air and 75 water with around 60% humidity and I was rideing in abou 1 to 2 foot chop...I never thought it would get so great RPM's but one thing I did was to really go by the book on the break in period. People say not to and some say do. Always treat your machine like you treat a new baby until broke in...Hope that helps...greg

I'm only turning 7800 to 7850. The whole weekend on that Ship Bottom to Sweet Water NJ ride, I wasn't running at top RPM's, only getting a solid 63mph at the above rpm's.

I'm checking the wear ring someday this week!

Oil level was checked, then rechecked.

I'm going to look for a boost leak, and try to do that slip movement test aswell.

UPDATE: I have one of my RXP that does 8100 and the second one with Riva Stage 1 upgrade still does 7900-7920. The GPS speed on the first one (stock) is 66.7 MPH in 86 degree water and 88 degree air temperature. The GPS on the second one is now 67.9 which is .5 MPH SLOWER than it was WITHOUT the Riva Stage 1 kit BUT the oil level on BOTH these skis is too high so I will adjust and post back.

    stock RXT peak rpms

Hdsilverado and Majundecid, there is NOTHING wrong with your skis, mine was doing only 63.5-64 in Gps @ 7850 peak rpms as well when the ski was stock with less than 2 hours of use @ sea level in 90 deg air.

Try this; Take out your stock intercooler. The IC isn't effecient enough to make up for the loss of volume bu the restriction of the IC.
