GPR need HELP
Have a GPR with the following problem, when the ski is running seems to be running on two cylinders. After running the ski for a while, when the rear cylinder (pto) is touched it still cold. Seems like its not firing. Have checked and it firing. Compression is a bit low. Running the RIVA heads, NR 1,2 is about 125, NR 3, about 115. Have changed carbs, swapped coils, tried a different CDI.
Tried running the ski on one cylinder only, NR 1 & 2, will start and run with no problem. NR 3 will run, but it take a bit to get it started, ie. opening the throttle. Nr 3 when started alone, runs rough and will die out.

Have you checked the spark plug wire itself?

How many hours on it?

Have you checked the stator assembly? You might want to get Ohm meter and check out the values up in the front cover. Just a thought..it sounds electrical.

I recently had the same problem. Check to see if your plug is fouled and also make sure the spark plug wire does not have any splits in it. One last thing check the spark plug wire at each coil to make sure it is on there
