    Drive Shaft Plug Replacement

Still chasing a leak. Someone on here had a leak and found the driveshaft plug (#37) to be defective. Trying to find that person for some questions.

It's on the end that goes into tho PTO housing.I guess to restrict play and not have metal to metal on the end. I also had a leak problem and took mine apart to check that part after VFX's article. Mine was ok. I replaced the carbon ring while it was torn apart. Sold it before trying it again so I don't know whether my leak problem was solved or not.

Don, sent you a PM on it,, here's a pic of the melted plug... it happened to me again at mudbug.. this time not as melted but the plug was broken.. kind of torn looking... but you'll feel it spinning out of hte hole.. at least it was doing that for me.
