    96 SLX 780 BOGG "sp"

    i took my 96 SLX 780 on vacation and it has a bad lowend bogg in it last year i put all new fuel lines and a new selector switch in it and it still seems to bogg.I opened up the carbs today and they look to be pretty good shape . Any ideas what to look for ???

    You verified timing at 3K RPM's yet?
    Have you tried to clamp off the fuel return line and see if it feels good? It may be a lazy ass pump.

    The pump is original i'll have to check the fuel pressure but she runs strong after you get by the bogg you can hold it wide open forever

    It requires the most fuel supply at full throttle acceleration, if the pump can't deliver it BBBBBOOOOOOOOGGGGggggggggg.
    At WOT that trippple outlet pump should deliver enough fuel, it's a thought???

    Ok i'll check the pressure any idea what it should be ???

    2 at idle and about 6 at WOT. If it drops to 3 or below on hard acceleration you found your problem.
    First just squeaze off the return line and see if it helps??

    What if pinching the return hose off doesn't help?
