    xs ic nothing loss nothing gained

    06 rxt, greenwheel, thruhull,riva grate, 3 inch air, pumpwedge, and now the xs ic, went to test it out today...... thought i was to gain at least 100-200 rpm. the readings before the ic are 8120 at 70.6. after the install the readings are the same 8120 at 70.5. is something wrong, never lost any but never gained any either????help. thanks

    How much boost do you have now with the greenwheel ?

    were these back to back tests in the same day?

    Sounds like you were already near (or at) your rev limiter before the XS. I would grab a 14/19 or add some more pitch to your prop to take advantage of the added power

    What where the weather temps on those days? When I installed mine I gained about 100 Rpm and that was w/ the stock SC still running

    i have a 14/19 on it now...and thats what i had before ,,no boost gauge yet, but no boost leaks as i checked all connections with soapy water. 1 speed run was last week before the install and 1 today with the same results as last week.

    goldrxp they were close to the same 87ish 90 checked throttle body for moisture none detected

    You are on the limiter...

    If you are on the limiter then the engine is unable to produce any more power. You need to add pitch to use the extra power.

    Similar to driving around in first gear, engine has more power available but is not geared correctly.
