97 GSI cuts out.
Ski has run great with no problems for the last two years. Went out today and it ran great for about an hour then it would just die. Gauges stay on for a sec after it dies then go off, if you hit the start button one long beep if you pull the lanyard and reinstall it fires right up and will run no problems for between 5 to 15 min. I tried a second key and same issue. When I got home I checked all the battery cables, connections etc and they all look good, the battery is a two year old Odyssey. I'm leaning towards replacing the DESS post. Any other ideas ?

Installed a new post, $135.00 cdn ouch, and then left on vacation for a week. When at the lake on the first day it did the same cutting out thing three times then never did it again the whole week. Maybe it just needed to be ridden hard for a while . Both skis ran great all week while taking lots of use and abuse.

your probly not going to get a response from those guys cause that thread is 2 years old. have you tried anything yet? have you rebuilt the carbs? replaced the fuel lines? cleaned the selector valve? replaced the DESS post? there is not much to a 720 engine so problems are going to be relatively easy to track down
