    dumb carb question??????

I have a 93 sl750.the #2 cylinder burnt a hole in middle of piston.I rebuilt cylinder and blew it up again within 10 minutes.I'm putting it back together for the second time, any way to set the carbs so it doesn't run lean and if so which screw is the low speed and which is the high speed screw on the mukuni carburator? Another note this last time I found that the cooling system was totally plugged solid thats taken care of.I told you it was a dumb question.

The low speed screw is the lower one the high speed is the upper one.

    Welcome to the Hulk Sulli!
It sounds like its time to upgrade the fuel system. Change all hoses including the ones in the tank. Replace the fuel pump w/ a 3 outlet pump.
Rebiuld the carbs. The carbs have internal filters that get clogged w/ goo from the fuel lines breaking down. Lean conditions will burn pistons.
You can find the manual here.... http://www.mattmans.com/polaris/upload/
