Can I use a 2.5 wedge from RXP on a RXT?

    It's a R&D.
It comes with the VTS rod, which I know is not on the RXT.
There is also a connector that goes in the steering linkage up front, and 2 long bolts.
Would I need to use either of those?

You can use it on either ski. As you know, the RXT doesn't need the VTS rod. The steering can be adjusted in the front per Shibby's how-to on steering alignment. I'm not familiar with the steering extenders that are included with the wedge as I've never owned one nor used one, but as mentioned above, the steering can be adjusted without the extender pieces.

You need the wedge And the longer bolts. You can use the steering extender also as it keeps you from have to do as much adjusting.

I assume the longer bolts are for the bottom two bolts on the venturi nozzle. I need to get some of those

Yeah James, the stock ones will work but I believe the longer ones are better as they thread in deeper. Would really suck to have a pump come loose at 70+.

It's not as easy as it sounds, once you get finished taking the pump out and installing the pump wedge and putting it all back together you then have to go to the nose of your ski and install the steering extender. Then adjust acordingly to make sure you are aligned correctly.

What are you talking about? The extender goes on the end of the cable at the pump (the Riva one, I assume R&D is the same). The plastic adjustment nut is under the dash and on the RXT you have to remove the access door in the front storage area to get to it. Shibby wrote a great post in the how-to section.

I don't know about the RXP but on the RXT the rear extender is for the reverse bucket. The front extender is for the steering.

Just to be clear, on the RXP you need the extension rod. You don't need this on the RXT. After you install the pump wedge you can hook everything up as stock except for the steering up front. You then have to open the trunk and install the steering extender.

All that would be incorrect. For the RXT they do not include (Riva, anyways) anything for the reverse bucket. It has a built in adjustment. The steering extension goes on the end of the cable at the venturi. I would show you pictures from the store but they are crap and do not show everything that is included. I have never heard of anything being added under the dash as the cable on that end is a one piece design.
